Stockport Community Champions Fund

A new fund has just launched with Stockport Council for voluntary, community and faith groups, social enterprises and third sector projects operating in Stockport.

The Stockport Community Champions Micro Fund is offering up to £1,000 to existing projects and new ideas that champion Stockport's resilient community spirit.

They're particularly keen to hear from projects that work to:

• Reduce isolation
• Improve health and wellbeing - such as helping people to be active
• Help people and communities to recover from the impact of covid on their life and community
• Inform people about COVID safety, including vaccinations

Individuals who have a great idea can also apply if they have a community bank account or get another community or public organisation to hold the money for them.
