The Marple Website no longer offers a commercial web design and hosting service but still supports a number of local groups and small businesses in this way. The site still welcomes local business advertising sponsors, which helps to cover the cost of running the site. Surplus income of £18,000 over the last 18 years has been used to help to support local community groups.

The Marple Website is pleased to offer low cost advertising opportunities geared towards the local business community that can be of benefit whether or not you have your own web site. In addition, you will be helping to support the running costs of the Marple Website. It is also likely that you will be helping local good causes too, like Marple Dementia Drop-in and Marple Youth Project.
Thanks to local business support through advertising The Marple Website has now donated £18,000 to local causes since 2006, an average of over £1,000 a year for the last 18 years!

The Marple Website's Portfolio of Design and Hosting Projects
For many years The Marple Website ran a small portfolio of web sites created for a variety of local clients. Following a health issue in 2021 a gradual run-down of the website's commercial activities began. By the end of 2024 virtually all business web sites had been successfully migrated to other providers and a much smaller portfolio of community web sites is now managed.

Free Community Group Pages on the Marple Website
The Marple Website has been representing the local community on-line since 1998 and offers free web pages to local non-profit making organisations such as the Macnair Trust, Friends of Oldknow's Lime Kilns and Marple Christian Care to name just a few.
