December has proved to be a very busy month for the club. We have been house to house collecting with the Father Christmas sleigh. We covered New Mills, Whaley Bridge, Disley and 3 routes in Marple.

In August the club had a trip out to the East Lancashire Railway Museum ...
In July we held our annual Rose Bowl Golf Day. This year the event was held at Hazel Grove Golf Club and the charity to benefit from the funds raised from the day was Mellor Country House.
June has proved to be a very busy month for us. We have taken stands at New Mills Carnival and Marple Carnival with the idea of making the public more aware of the Rotary presence within the community.
We now have a spiral “Wishing Well” which will help us to raise funds and also give some fun to those making wishes.
Since 2007 hundreds of Rotary Volunteers have visited India to help with the country’s Mass Polio Immunisation Days.
Over 1,000 volunteers and have collectively immunised over 16 million children in India, children who may have otherwise been crippled by Polio.
