Marple is one of very few small towns to still have its own cinema. It is housed in the old Union Rooms in Stockport Road. These were built in 1878 as a coffee tavern and mission hall for the people of Marple by Thomas Carver, one of the owners of Hollins Mill.
Today the regent is an asset highly valued by the Marple Community.
The cinema is accessible for wheelchairs
An Induction Loop System has been provided to assist Hearing Aid users.
