Marple Methodist Church

We are a medium sized church in Stockport, Greater Manchester. Our average Sunday morning congregation is 40 - 60 and we have just over 100 members. As a Church, we try to cater for all kinds of tastes and age groups and we offer a warm welcome to anyone worshipping with us, whether they are regular attenders or visitors. If you are visiting Marple when the Church is open, then do drop in. If you can't visit, then feel free to contact the minister.

Marple Methodist Church is also a venue for many activities and includes a Community Cafe open every Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 2pm.

Hot drinks and toast and toasted teacakes.

Soup and bread and a variety of vegetarian meals served from 12noon to 2pm.

Also open Saturday (term time only) for drinks 10am to 12noon.

Rooms for hire

There are also a number of rooms of various sizes available for hire on either a one-off or regular basis. Methodist regulations mean that alcohol is not allowed on the premises. The contact for room bookings is Tony Holwill, 427 4054.
