The Community Group Pages are special pages produced in support of local clubs, non-profit making organisations and charities who wish to be part of the Marple Website Community.

Way back in 1998 this was originally aimed at organisations who didn't have the means to create their own web sites. Times have changed greatly since then and even if your group does have its own web site, Facebook page, or uses another Social Media platform, you may still benefit greatly from becoming part of this community to raise your profile and help people find you. It should even improve your web site's rankings in the search engines.

The Marple Wine and Social Club was founded 47 years ago as a wine makers group. Today it is a social club but we still enjoy a glass of wine at our meetings, which range widely in content.

NWR is for women of any age who enjoy meeting and talking to other women away from the pressures of everyday life.
New Horizons Canal Boat, was launched by HRH The Prince of Wales in 1981. It is operated as a registered charity, Stockport Canal Boat Trust for Disabled People (Charity No: 1075844).
The Rotary Club of New Mills, Marple and District meets every Thursday lunchtime in Marple Golf Club at 12.30 pm.
Opportunity Reading Group at Marple Library is an open reading group for adults over 18 and is autism and disability friendly.

Lions are ordinary people who do amazing things. They volunteer their time to worthy causes in their local and global communities.
A friendship group open to anyone over 18 in Marple and Werneth areas that meet every Monday morning in Queen's Court, Marple.
