The Marple Band

The Marple Band is a traditional brass band whose home is the small town of Marple, just outside Stockport and on the edge of the Peak District.

The Band seeks to enjoy playing quality music at a high standard and enters a number of brass band contests every year, with a good level of success.

We undertake a number of local engagements - mainly concerts for charity work, fund-raising and to maintain and enhance the band's relationship with the community. There is an enquiry/booking form on our website if you wish to request our band at an event.

We are not a sponsored band and rely for funding on contributions from friends and supporters and money earned from performances. ‘Supporter of the band’ please visit our web site.

Rehearsals
The Band rehearse twice a week (Wednesday and Friday), 8.00 – 10.00pm, upstairs at the Charles Ingham Band Room, 76 Station Rd, Marple SK6 6NY.
